This Refund and Cancellation Policy ("Policy") applies to all purchases and subscriptions made on the website (the "Website"). By subscribing to our services or purchasing any digital product on the Website, you accept the terms of this Policy.

1. Nature of the services provided

The Website provides an independent online portal offering digital services and information related to vehicles, including but not limited to: HPI Checks, VIN Decoder reports, VRT and NOx tax calculations, Non-Pledge Certificates, Crit'Air sticker assistance, itinerary planning, gas and electric station finders, and access to expert guides.

All services offered on the Website are digital content and digital services within the meaning of applicable European consumer protection law (in particular Directive 2011/83/EU on consumer rights).

2. Subscription terms

Access to the Website's services is provided through a paid monthly subscription at a price of €37.90 per month, preceded — where applicable — by a 2-day trial period at €0.95.

The subscription renews automatically each month until cancelled by the user. The subscription fee is debited on the renewal date using the payment method registered at the time of subscription.

3. Right of withdrawal and express waiver

Under European consumer law, consumers generally benefit from a 14-day right of withdrawal for distance contracts.

However, in accordance with Article 16(m) of Directive 2011/83/EU, the right of withdrawal does not apply to the supply of digital content not delivered on a tangible medium where performance has begun with the consumer's prior express consent and acknowledgement that the right of withdrawal is thereby lost.

By subscribing to the Website and proceeding with payment, the user:

  • expressly requests that the digital services and digital content (HPI Checks, VIN Decoder reports, VRT calculations, Non-Pledge Certificates, Crit'Air sticker assistance, guides, and all other digital deliverables) be made available and performed immediately upon payment, before the expiry of the 14-day withdrawal period;
  • expressly acknowledges and agrees that, as a result, they waive their right of withdrawal as soon as the digital content or digital service has been made available, downloaded, generated, or accessed;
  • acknowledges that, consequently, no refund will be granted for digital documents, reports, certificates, or calculations that have already been generated, downloaded, displayed, or made available to the user following payment.

This waiver is confirmed by ticking the dedicated checkbox during the checkout process and/or by completing payment for the service.

4. No refund policy for digital content already delivered

Given the immediate-delivery nature of our digital products and the express waiver described in Section 3, payments made for digital documents, reports, certificates, or calculations delivered immediately after payment are final and non-refundable.

This includes, without limitation:

  • HPI Check reports
  • VIN Decoder reports
  • VRT and NOx tax calculations
  • Non-Pledge Certificates
  • Crit'Air sticker applications submitted on the user's behalf
  • Any other downloadable, generated, or instantly accessible content

5. Subscription cancellation

The user may cancel their subscription at any time. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period and prevents the next automatic renewal. The user retains access to the services until the end of the period already paid for.

Cancellation does not give rise to any refund — even partial or prorated — for the current billing period or for any digital content already delivered during the subscription.

To cancel a subscription, users may:

  • use the cancellation page available on the Website;
  • log in to their account on the Website and follow the cancellation procedure;
  • contact customer service by email at the address provided on the Website.

6. Exceptional refund cases

Notwithstanding Sections 3 and 4, a refund may be granted, at the Website's discretion, in the following exceptional circumstances:

  • duplicate payment caused by a technical error on the Website;
  • proven and unauthorized charge not made by the legitimate account holder;
  • documented unavailability of the service preventing any use during the entire paid period, where the issue is attributable to the Website and has not been resolved within a reasonable time.

Any refund request based on these grounds must be sent to customer service within 14 days of the disputed charge and include the order reference, the date of payment, and a clear description of the issue.

7. How to submit a request

All refund or cancellation requests should be sent to customer service via the contact details provided on the Website.

Approved refunds are processed within 14 business days of confirmation and credited to the original payment method.

8. Modifications to this Policy

The Website reserves the right to amend this Policy at any time. The version applicable to any given transaction is the one in force on the date of payment. Users are encouraged to review this page periodically.

9. Applicable law and disputes

This Policy is governed by Irish law, without prejudice to the mandatory consumer protection provisions applicable to consumers residing in the European Union. Any dispute relating to this Policy that cannot be resolved amicably may be brought before the competent courts.
